Closed Consultation Papers

The Central Bank issues consultation papers when enhancements to the Regulatory framework are being proposed. The consultation process provides an opportunity for the Bank to engage with stakeholders on a particular topic and to get comments/suggestions in relation to the proposed changes.  Feedback is encouraged and submissions received are published on this website.

In addition, consultation documents on policy issues prepared by the ECB are posted on the website of the ECB and the national central banks of the Eurosystem, with interested parties being invited to communicate their views and suggestions on the respective topic within a given timeframe. This process enables the Eurosystem to take account of the views of relevant market participants and the interested public.
