The Central Bank and Financial Services Authority of Ireland Acts 2003 and 2004 together with the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 have made extensive amendments to the Central Bank Act 1942. These are the primary pieces of legislation in relation to the legislative framework for the Central Bank of Ireland.
